Week1A: My Template
Some people say that doing all online classes can be challenging, stressful and even time consuming. I see it as an advantage to do the one thing I love the most. Travel. You asked why I chose my personally customized template for my blog and heres the reason.
Traveling to me is an opportunity to learn and see some incredible things all over the world. Whether it's traveling to Arizona and seeing the Grand Canyon or flying across the world to visit Machu Picchu. I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to see so much already such as taking a two week cruise around Europe and road tripping in my family's RV back in the early 2000's. Traveling can bring so much positivity to a persons mind and soul and I think its amazing to expose your self to other cultures.
I chose the airplane as my background picture to remind me that the world is my oyster. This is my year to go to the places I've always wanted to see and experience all new things. This will truly help me find my self, my interests and what I am passionate about. Although I have considered studying abroad, my true calling is to travel independently or with a friend and experience it for ourselves. The yellow color font I chose was to show happiness. Choosing a bright color will draw people into my blog site and catch their eye. One thing I learned in my business class was to make your posts or websites bright, trendy and positive to get more people to engage.
My goal for my blog template was to remind my self to go see what is outside of my suburban town. I hope to influence others into traveling and finding what they love and are passionate about. Traveling doesn't always have to be an expensive thing either. All you need is your self and a car and it can take you wherever you want to go.

This awesome how you look at online classes! I use them as well to give time to do the things I love. While mine may not be traveling, it does take up much of my week day time when normal classes meet. Do you plan on continuing a blog to document your travels? I would love to read about them.
ReplyDeleteGreat outlook you have on online classes. I as well like how they give one more time to do other things as well. That's amazing that you love traveling. Very cool travels that you have been on so far. Excited to read more of your blog.
ReplyDeleteHi Liz,
ReplyDeleteI love how your passion of traveling inspired your blog theme and design! Traveling is such a great experience. I chose online classes for this freedom as well. It's so cool how you intentionally added yellow because it evokes happy emotions. I learned this in one of my past marketing classes.
I'm looking forward to reading your upcoming posts!
