Week8B

Instagram was released in 2010 and has become massively popular since 2015. This social media platform gives businesses and users the opportunity to reach audiences from around the world. This plays a huge factor in businesses because they are able to connect with people from different countries. Some businesses will use Instagram to strictly promote their business/products while other businesses use Instagram to engage with their customers, post products and promote. For example, Target does a lot of reposts as well as posts of their products. They love to engage with their customers and are their to chat incase of any issues. Personally, I use Instagram for my personal use but from this class and internships, I have learned how to run a business account and the different tips and tricks into not only getting likes and comments but getting more engagement.
